Welcome to the City of Albany E-Newsletter. Published twice a month, the City of Albany E-Newsletter is filled with information about your local government, health events and activities in the community.

Non-Emergency 311 Call Center is now available to assist you with local government service request and general information. The Center is open weekdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Simply dial 311 from your telephone or 229-878-3111.

You may also call the 311 Call Center Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for more information and to get registered.

The Dougherty Area Regional Transportation Study (DARTS) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the area including the City of Albany, Dougherty County, and the southern half of Lee County. The MPO’s role is to develop and maintain the necessary transportation plan for the area. The MPO has also been given the responsibility to involve the public in this process through expanded citizen participation efforts.
