Lil STAR Instructional Basketball Camp:
There is no charge, but participants must fill out a membership application. Kids will learn the basketball fundamental shooting, passing, and dribbling and life skills such as paying attention, following directions, and self-discipline. Register at the ARPD office at 1301 N. Monroe (in Tift Park) or Turner Gym (2301 George St.). All participants must wear sneakers.

Potters With A Heart:
 Albany Area Arts Council presents Potters with a Heart Sale and Exhibition. The Pottery Sale and Exhibition showcases the work of local artists Connie Gibson, Kirby Gregory, Scott Marini and The Clay Spot. Albany Area Arts Council expresses a huge thank you to these featured artists for their generous donation to Empty Bowls!

Gee's Bend:
GEE'S BEND depicts the turbulent history of African-Americans in the 20th century by focusing on a single family in the real community of Gee's Bend, AL, which is now famous for the beautiful quilts created by the women that grew up there. Gospel songs weave in and out of this hauntingly beautiful work. Featuring Patricia Randall-Alford, Geneva Fields, T. A. Gatling, and Valerie Williams

Flint RiverQuarium Turtle Mini-Race:

A Night of Celebration: Celebrating Survivors of Domestic Violence:
The purpose of this event is to raise money to assist our clients needing jobs and supportive services to provide for their families. Your generous contributions will provide the means to advance opportunities in education, housing and emergency assistance for all victims including, safe-house maintenance, child abuse victim services and help for homeless individuals.

ServSafe Food Manager Certification Trainings:
You can improve your food safety and sanitation skills through a nationally recognized food safety sanitation course. The class is 16 hours by Certified ServSafe Trainer of the UGA Family and Consumer Sciences, Suzanne Williams. This course meets the new GA Food Code requirements and is certified through the National Restaurant Association and class fee of $140.00 includes the course book, supplies, educational materials, exam, instruction, and refreshments. Successful completion of the exam provides certification. We have a pass rate of 80%.

This seminar is a must for anyone thinking about doing business with the government. You will learn how the government buys goods and services and what you must do to win government contracts. We will tell you all about how to register as a vendor, how to find out about what the government buys, how government agencies advertise their purchases, how to respond, how to locate subcontracting opportunities with government prime contractors, and much more.

Special Valentine's Day presentation of the play 'Love Letters' written by A.R.Gurney.
