Mission

The mission of the Microbusiness Enterprise Center (MBEC) is to encourage regional, economic, and community development by stimulating entrepreneurship and small business formation.

 

Objectives

 The objectives of the Microbusiness Enterprise Center:

 

*        Graduate and retain viable companies in the Downtown Albany Area

*        Provide services and technical assistance that assist small businesses and have an impact

          on their growth and job creation as well as the economic growth of Southwest Georgia

*        Provide a first class business location for tenants

*        Enhance the provision of shared office services for MBEC participants

*        Increase community partnerships and resources to assist participants

*        Increase public and private awareness of the program scope of MBEC

*        Recruit and assist small businesses with high potential for growth and job creation

 

Vision

Our vision is to become a viable regional resource for job creation, small business generation,

and economic development and serve as the hub for entrepreneurship that spans the Southwest Georgia Region.
